Along with her husband Mr. T, Project Ni Hao adopted ZZ from Shaanxi Province, China in July of 2008.  They received ZZ’s referral from a medical needs waiting list; approval from China for the adoption arrived exactly 2 years from the date their paperwork was “logged in”.  At the age of 4, ZZ charged head-first into a family with two dogs and two older siblings, and has charmed the socks off of everyone he has met since.

Project Ni Hao splits her time between work and caring for ZZ at home – thus her schedule is essentially dictated by the school calendar.  She loves photographing landscapes and animals, and kids when they are being their silliest.   She is a relentless foodie and farmer’s market fan, has a hopelessly soft heart for small furry creatures, and has been known to bribe her kid with candy in order to get a picture.
